The only shared atrribute between this new design and our original AntPad is Dreamleaf's proprietary pesticide-free ant-deterrent surface.

We use sustainable wood produced by a community enterprise in the province of Lampang, Thailand. Community carpenters shape the wood specifically for our purpose. Two variants, made from Rubber and Indian walnut, provide differing color shades. Each trivet has its own unique natural wood pattern.
The AntPad wood is a trivet for placing items prone to ant attacks. It's friendly wood aesthetics belong in the comfortable atmosphere of a home, restaurant, coffee shop, and other cozy venues. It is completely free of pesticide, and does not emit any odors. No water is required. It can deter ants for approximately two years, and can be refilled. The AntPad Wood is certrain to provide peace of mind for years on end.

The AntPad Wood is ready for use right out of its seal. (Not need to refill just yet). To block ant intrusions, place under any food container prone to such attacks. Weight allowance: 100 kilograms.
Make sure to have clearance all around the AntPad Wood, that nothing touches nearby objects or the surface outside the Pad. This is to ensure there are no shortcuts for the ants to exploit.
Do not wash directly under a faucet or rinse in water. Open the Pad by twisting counter-clockwise and unscrew. Avoid touching the white surface as doing so could affect ant deterrence effectiveness. Wipe external and internal clean with moist cloth.

The AntPad Wood is sold with an ant-repellent refill gel. Apply this gel only when ant deterrence is less than optimal, which may occur after 1-2 years.
How to apply refill:
Open the Pad by twisting counter-clockwise and unscrew.
Apply a thin layer of the gel evenly and continuously throughout the white cloth, both top and bottom.
Close the Pad and continue with use. No need to wait to dry.

The AntPad Wood is designed to be environmentally friendly. Once it has served its purpose, it can be disassembled for proper recycling.
Warning: Heavy duty tools are required.
- Pry the wood panels away from the core.
- For the core, tear the soft cloth away at both ends
- Use a heavy-gauge wire cutter or hammer to break the ABS plastic away from the iron bolt
- Recycle each material as appropriate

The core of the AntPad Wood, which contains our ant-repellent surface, is designed to be weight bearing. We use 100% recycled ABS plastic. Such recycled material once existed as another product. When that product reaches it's end of life, the plastic is recovered, and we use that plastic to produce this core. It is reinforced with an iron bolt, making it specially strong. The core can be recycled again once it is discarded.
